In the afternoon of 9th Apr. 2009, the partner Nie Yang was invited by People's Procuratorate of Nanshan Shenzhen to represent law firm to attend the meeting of setting up of PPNS Internet Procuratorial Work Center.
The People's Procuratorate of Nanshan Shenzhen always has outstanding behaviors in national procuratorial system. PPNS was awarded as "the Example of the standardized Construction of National Grass-roots Procuratorial" in 2006 and "the Second Top Ten Grass-roots Procuratorial" in 2007. To adapt the development and promote the work, PPNS decided to set up the Internet Procuratorate Work Center to establish a platform of releasing information, publicizing policies and communicating as well as the platform of procuratorate servicing, the supervision over the administrative enforcement. PPNS set up both Chinese and English website to meet the demands of foreigners and foreign companies in Nanshan, which would set a good image in the international community so that foreigners will recognize the development of the legal circumstances of China.
Due to the internet content mainly related to law, and the practice of our law firm has always focused on the field of FDI, so we have strong expertise of legal English. To guarantee the quality of English website, after the comprehensive consideration, PPNS decided to employ our law firm to provide exclusive translation service for its website. Member of Party Leadership Group of the People`s Procuratorate of Shenzhen, the Deputy Chief Prosecutor Liang Zengcang, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the NPC of Nanshan District, Feng QiongZhen, Investigator of the politics and law committee of Nanshan District Gan Jiesheng, Deputy Director of the Policy Planning Office of People`s Procuratorate of Shenzhen Wu Weidong, Deputy President of People`s Court of Nanshan Yang Xu, Deputy Investigator of Technology Division of Nanshan Liu Shiming, the Head of Operation and Management Division of ZTE who is also a NPC member of Nanshan Zhao Yun, SZITIC general merchandise Ltd, NPC member Guo Chengjian, the Chief Prosecutor Wang Jinmin, the Deputy Chief Prosecutor Huang Bin, Assistant to the Chief Prosecutor Gao Yuqi, the media and Tencent, Thunder, Huayi Law firm and Tian Yi company participated in the meeting. PPNS`s internet commentators and the reviewing team of English website also participated.
